²²^(A)Blessed are you when men hate you, and ^(B)ostracize you, and insult you, and scorn your name as evil, for the sake of the Son of Man. ²³Be glad in that day and ^(C)leap for joy, for behold, your reward is great in heaven. For ^(D)in the same way their fathers used to ^[a]treat the prophets. ²⁴But woe to ^(E)you who are rich, for ^(F)you are receiving your comfort in full.
